My ideas from my magazine came from my love of the 60s and 60s fashion. I researched lots of 60s magazines and found the main themes were beauty standards targeted towards woman. I used a picture from last year as I attempted taking a picture in a 1960s outfit but i didn't like how it turned out compared to a picture I already had. I used a bright and colourful rainbow background as the 60s was a time of colourful fashion. My page titles were relevant to the decade. The bob is back, the bob was a hairstyle that was originally popular in the 1920s but resurfaced in the 1960s due to mod fashion and music. Mini skirts were invented by Mary Quant and maxi skirts were also popular in the 60s so I combined the two to make a headline. The title of my magazine is also called quant after Mary Quant and is inspired by her fashion in the 60s. John and Paul was a funny title as people used to think they were dating. Anti aging juice is due to the unrealistic and misogynistic standards that were pushed upon woman on the 60s.
